Time to write…

I feel bad for neglecting my blog this year, I knew it wasn’t going to be an ordinary year and that things would have to be sacrificed. One was my fishing time and the other was finding time to keep my blog updated with anything interesting I may encounter when I did get out. Well I’ve hardly done any shore fishing this year due to work commitments and have zero to write about in that respect unfortunately but I have been getting out on my SIB when I can and it has been very interesting in that respect. So hopefully over winter I’ll be able to find the time to catch up on some of my experiences.  Continue reading

Irish bass festival 2016

Me and my mate Tim have just got back from Ten days in Ireland for the bass festival. It was our first time over there and had no idea what to expect. Stories of poor fishing and the place being easily blown out where worrying. We made plans just in case of such situation but where pleased to see the forecast before the comp was blowing West along the coast. This brought a little swell and clear water though the forecast was meant to be going SW for the comp.

2014 Gear Review From The Year

Last year I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to fish as Pro staff for Seaspin. I jumped at the idea and looked at it as something new, a challenge and there products really interested me. After a season testing there lures and other accessories I can now shed some light on some of there products but unfortunately not all where used in vengeance and there’s plenty more testing to do next year…

A slow August

August has been my worst month for a few years now and just never seems to produce many good fish. First Boarder Bandit Raid,The Cornish Lure Festival!

Last weekend was the Cornish Lure Festival, a weekend event of all things Lure fishing that takes part once a year over the 4th,5th and 6th of July.

There are so many Categories and so many top quality prizes to be won. Cornwall is a special place and it’s 422 miles of stunning coastline holds all sorts of features for a huge range of fish species! The species hunter’s at this years event clearly showed that nearly all of them can be caught on lures too!
